Manu Chao flagged for Western Sahara in Oslo

The French Spanish musician Manu Chao played at a music festival in Oslo on 25 August - with the Western Sahara flag on stage.

Tens of thousands of people were gathered at a free concert in center of Oslo where Manu Chao played on 25 August 2012. 

Chao also lent the microphone to the Saharawi refugee Senia Abderahman during the concert. 

Media and organisers estimate the number of spectators somewhere between 40.000 and 110.000 people.

UN body requests Morocco to immediately release Western Sahara journalist
